Lunch
Dit is een van de plekken waar de tafeltjes buiten helemaal vol zitten in de mooie maanden. Ik heb hier enkel tijdens de lunch gezeten, ze hebben een ander menu voor het diner. Je kan ook borrelhapjes nemen.
Soep
Ze hebben specialiteiten, waarbij er ook een soepoptie is. Op dit moment was het een paddenstoelensoep met truffel. Beide dingen vind ik erg lekker en dus besloot ik hier voor te gaan. Je kreeg bij de soep de optie om wit of bruin degenbrood te krijgen.
Brood
Ze hebben verschillende soorten broodjes, die anders zijn dan de gebruikelijke keuzes. Ik besloot voor de stoofperen met feta, walnoten en balsamico honing te gaan. Dit klonk allemaal erg lekker en ik had nog nooit stoofperen op brood gehad. Je mag kiezen of je het broodje op wit of bruid desem vloerbrood wil, of op een Italiaanse bol. Ook dit zijn niet de gebruikelijke keuzes. Het zag er goed en mooi uit, maar niet makkelijk om te eten.
Drankje
Met mooi weer heb je hier genoeg keuze uit een koud drankje. Ik besloot van de mocktails de Blueberry G&T te proberen. Dit is tanqueray 0.0%, tonic water, cassis siroop met framboos, bosbessen en munt. Dit was erg lekker en met echte vruchtjes erin. Het was ook een groot glas, wat ook altijd fijn is. De prijs is iets aan de hoge kant.
Conclusie
De vele combinaties door verrassende keuzes is positief. Met de kwaliteit van het eten is niets mis. Helaas merk je dat het voor het personeel te druk is om een bepaald niveau te kunnen leveren. Het verkeerde brood werd bij de soep geleverd, een drankje hebben we nooit gekregen en iemand aanspreken was ook niet altijd makkelijk. Daarbij kregen wij beiden gerechten tegelijkertijd op een hele kleine tafel, waar ook niet overna gedacht was. Ik zou deze dus enkel aanraden wanneer je echt alle tijd hebt en het niet erg vind als het toch anders loopt dan je vooraf besteld hebt. Het eten wat je krijgt is namelijk wel goed.
Lunch

Soup
They have specialties, including a soup option. At the time, it was a mushroom soup with truffle. I really like both of these things, so I decided to go for it. With the soup, you were given the option of getting white or brown dough bread.
Bread
They have various types of rolls that are different from the usual choices. I decided to go for the stewed pears with feta, walnuts, and balsamic honey. This all sounded very tasty, and I had never had stewed pears on bread before. You can choose whether you want the roll on white or whole wheat sourdough bread, or on an Italian roll. These are not the usual choices either. It looked good and beautiful, but not easy to eat.
Drinks
When the weather is nice, there is plenty of choice for a cold drink here. I decided to try the Blueberry G&T from the mocktails. This is Tanqueray 0.0%, tonic water, blackcurrant syrup with raspberry, blueberries, and mint. This was very tasty and contained real fruit. It was also a large glass, which is always nice. The price is a bit on the high side.
Conclusion
The many combinations resulting from surprising choices is a positive point. There is nothing wrong with the quality of the food. Unfortunately, you notice that the staff is too busy to maintain a certain standard. The wrong bread was served with the soup, we never received a drink, and approaching someone wasn't always easy either. In addition, we were served both dishes at the same time on a very small table, which also seemed completely thoughtless. So, I would only recommend this place if you really have plenty of time and don't mind if things turn out differently than you ordered beforehand. The food you do get is actually good.
